Solid surface is 100% material all the way through, which means if you get it scratched it will polish out, or if chipped it can easily be repaired.
Gelcoat can be applied to the surface finish, so you can achieve high gloss finishes, which are very popular in the bathroom market.
Granitspray effect gel can also be used, this will give a granite effect, which is approx 1mm thick, this is used when the component has to be made lightweight. |
